The Top Load Washer Splutch Cam Kit contains the parts needed to properly spin the inner basket of the appliance during the washing cycle. This assembly attaches at the bottom of the washer and includes (1) spring, (1) housing, (1) cam ring, (1) basket drive gear, (1) pulley and (1) nut. If your experiencing issues with the wash and spin cycles of your appliance or it's making a lot of noise, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
