Returns that do not meet these conditions will not qualify for credit. All items that do come back are not put in Fixitguyboston.com’s stock and are returned to the manufacturer for inspection for refund. Items cannot be returned after 60 days.

  • Damaged Product Reporting: We require customers to report any damage within 5 business days of receipt. This enables us to promptly initiate the necessary procedures with the courier and adhere to their deadlines for damaged packages.
  • Courier Investigation Requirements: In the event of damaged products, it’s imperative to retain the original box and packaging for shipping courier investigations. Failure to comply with this requirement may void the return or credit process.
  • To Know If We Stock an Item: The availability of an item will be clearly indicated on our website’s parts listing page as "In Stock," along with the exact quantity available in our warehouse at the time of viewing.
  • Important Notes About Incoming Returns:
    • Fixitguyboston.com does not do exchanges for any order.
    • All items to be returned must be preapproved.
    • Returns must include the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number on the package or shipping label.
    • No refunds will be given for shipping charges, handling fees, or state fees under any circumstances unless an error is made by Fixitguyboston.com.
    • Once the item is received please allow 7-10 Days for our team to process your return.

Do I Pay Shipping For Parts or Supplies I Return To Fixitguyboston.com?

If a part or supply was shipped incorrectly (i.e you ordered part # 123456 and we shipped 123411), then we would send you a free return label or let you know what to do with the item. Any part that is called in for warranty, customer is responsible to pay for return shipping for the defective part. Manufacturers' policy do not pay for warranty shipping.

Parts & Supplies Warranty Policies

  • Replacement Parts Warranty: Please note that we can only provide warranty coverage for replacement parts purchased directly through our website at Fixitguyboston.com. Parts that fall under your original manufacturer’s warranty must be addressed through the original equipment dealer from whom you purchased the machines, as we are unable to process warranty claims for those items.
  • Warranty Information: All products listed on our website will follow the warranty specifications designed by the manufacturer. If you have received a warranty replacement part, this nullifies the return policy.
  • Warranty Exception for Obsolete Items: If a purchased item becomes obsolete or is deemed no longer available by the manufacturer while still within its warranty period, the warranty will expire on the date the manufacturer discontinues the part. The manufacturer has stated that they do not issue credits or warranty coverage for items that are no longer available. As a result, Fixitguyboston.com is also unable to provide any credit toward the warranty, as the manufacturer does not offer reimbursement.

Parts Shipping Info & Policies

  • Carrier Claims: If there is a problem with your shipment or it appears to be lost, please reach out to us through our “Contact Us” area. We strongly recommend allowing us to open the claim on your behalf, as the shipper, so we can work directly with the carrier and involve our representatives to help expedite the process. If you choose to file the claim yourself, we may have limited ability to assist or influence the outcome once the investigation is underway.
  • Delayed Order: If your order is delayed due to an issue with the shipping courier (USPS, UPS, DHL (International), or LTL Freight), we're not responsible for any compensation due to issues amongst the couriers.
  • Damaged Order: If a product arrives damaged, you must keep the original box and packing so that we can schedule an investigation within the courier. All shipping couriers will not accept any claim if original box and packing have been discarded. You have 5 Business Days to report any issue or damages so we can properly claim it with the MFG or shipping courier.
  • Shipping Refunds Notice: Fixitguyboston.com cannot refund shipping charges for delays beyond the control of UPS/USPS/DHL. This includes but is not limited to: refusal or unavailability to accept delivery, natural disasters, acts of God, terrorism, war, customs delays, insufficient customer information, hazardous materials issues, government regulations, civil unrest, labor disputes, transportation or communication disruptions, and severe weather.

What Forms of Payment Does Fixitguyboston.com Accept?

Currently, we accept Visa, MasterCard,  and American Express as valid forms of payment. However, please note that we do not facilitate Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions, accept personal checks, or support Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards as means of payment.

Can I Cancel My Order after I've Placed It?

Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment. Once an item has shipped—either to our distribution center or directly to you—it is no longer eligible for cancellation.

Please note the following exceptions and conditions:

  • For eligible orders over $300, a 3% cancellation fee will apply.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled over the phone. If you call our team, we will kindly direct you to submit your request online, as cancellations can only be processed through our official Order Cancellation Form.
