12400035 Whirlpool Oven Flat Style Igniter Kit

This Gas Oven Flat Style Igniter Kit replaces shorter or longer igniters for either bake or broil burners. If the element itself shorted out, or if the igniter of your oven glows for more than 90 seconds without lighting the gas flame, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. The igniter must glow white hot to correctly light the oven; if it glows red or orange it is not functioning as it should. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
